.... this is true... it seems like someone speaks from experience. Id rather not cut it just because to be wide enough to have to cut it would be too wide imo... Id like to put some 245s or 255s

Nah. It wouldn't be too wide. I trimmed my lips back ages ago when I was running a static drop and 17" wheels.

You can see in this pic that there's not much of the lip left...

on my 15s the tires would look bloated if I got tires wide enough to need to trim.

on a different note 1badgmc, your truck is awesome. the shaved step is amazing cant say how much I want to do that

Not my truck, but it's a 5 lug, pretty much guaranteed to be a 2wd truck, unless they converted from 6 to 5 lug.
