If this were on CL close to me, I would pick it up in a heartbeat and part it out. Unless you are just intent on someone saving the truck, I would just part it out. I bought a wrecked '92 back in July for the transmission. I parted the rest out and made $750. Still have a lot of parts to sell, too. In other words I think $500 is a good deal.

Update: Sold this truck last night and it turns out it was pretty much stripped out already and the body was full of dents and rust. I ended up taken $400 for it.
