I have a 1995 GMC C-1500 pickup that did not come with any power options. The door panels are hard plastic with no provision for the switch required for power mirrors. I would like to add aftermarket towing mirrors, and would love to add power adjustment. Do you know of any way to add the switch without replacing the door panel? Is there a switch from another model that can be surface mounted somewhere?

Thanks.

Bump!

I have a '91, and can't find a surface mount switch. I would love this feature.

I have an NOS S-10 mirror switch. And I can supply a control harness for it as well-just need to know what kind of connector your tow mirror has.
