I love how my 6.5 in my dually build's power, I just put all new 4 in. exhaust on it, and man did that bring it alive, I know a lot of people don't like 6.2/6.5's but so far I really like mine, and like your's I'm getting great mileage.

Yup! They aren't the most powerful thing out there, but they are great for what they are. I can't wait to have the funds to mod it and get a bit more power out of it.

At first I just kind of skimmed through until I got to the picture with the "Nostril Bumper" Nice Find and a stick to boot.
I have a '96 RCLB with a 6.5 mileage is very good and power really isn't too bad. I have done a few mods.

I think someone didn't push the hood all the way and drove off. Lol it has happened to me and yup two dents lol.But nice truck!

With the help of my friend, the brushgaurd was removed, factory bumper gaurds installed and the entire truck got a nice pressure wash.
Then the inside came apart. I think it had never been cleaned inside....
Also I took everything small enough and ran it in the dishwasher.
All carpet cleaned and back together. It came out pretty clean, I noticed a few spots on the carpet that need another go-round' with the cleaner.
