A/C Blower Motor

Hello everyone,

Is there any good and easy way to increase the blower motor output on a 93 Silverado? Maybe a swap in motor from a newer truck that has better output? So far I have checked the power going to the unit, cleaned the evaporator, and made sure the motor was getting good ground and 14v when the truck was running. The output is still very lackluster and I was wondering if anyone knew of there was a solution for this or if I could swap in a better blower motor?

Ours is a 2000 so it is different than yours. We just replaced ours with a VDO unit and it's been so much faster than the original its awesome.
