Yeah I figure I could easily make my money back just selling the 4L60E and rear 10-bolt.

Friend of mine thinks I should pick up another block and fix it, turn around and sell it. Eh. I want grey interior.

KBB says it's worth $4k in fair condition.

So, IF a motor were to be had in theory it could be $2k in profit. Assuming I don't have to work myself to death on it.

I've always gone qith rhe theory if my profit is potentially the same as my investment or more, deal. Fix, and sell. If not, part out then scrap.

In your case, you need the interior. Strip it and part it out if you have room. Parting out (if done right) can yield a large profit but you have to be willing to do the work to reap the benefits.....

Talked to the guy.

front seats are swapped for a suburban set (plain grey) and aren't in the best of shape.

he wants it gone. Said $750 if i can get it today.

I'm so ill equipped for this. No trailer, no straps, no cash on hand and the truck is 2 hours away.
