My buddy took his Chevy II (400ci / 118mm turbo) to the track this weekend to do some shake down passes.
First pass was just 100' to get a feel for it.
Went good so 2nd pass was 330' and car went straight and nothing crazy.
First 1/8th mile pass went a 4.64 @ 159. So things are lookin good for when he turns the boost up and spins engine higher than 8000rpms.

I'm not sure but sounds like it will get out of the way. I'm guessing he going to bounce low 8s in a 1/4 .

4.6 1/8th mile is equivalent to a mid 7 1/4 mile
It should get down to the bottom 4s (mid 6s in 1/4 mile equivalent) once its turned up

Really simple exhaust too.
I left the turnouts short but just thought about it, I need to move them to clear for the Assassin Bars now. :(
Pardon me for being ignorant in some things but I’ve never heard of assassin bars. What’s that?
