Nice bed work you've done there! Which model amp is that? Are you reverse phased, or playing into the enclosure?

How do you tell if you need a AD244 with a two or four wire plug? Do I just count the number of wires in my current CS130D?

I have a 97 GMC K3500 with a 6.5TD. I think my CS130D has three wires in the alternator plug. I do know the 6.5TD gets the tack signal from the alternator.

Okay I counted them.

The Plug connecting to the alternator has 2 wires going to it, but the plug has four positions for wires and so does the alternator.

I looked on Autozone and it looks like the two wire alternator has a plug with only two positions vs the four wire alternator that has a plug with 4 positions for wires.

So its the plug size/shape that is the deciding factor correct not the number of wires leading to the plug for the alternator?
