It's all in the sig I think . I may have missed some things , I have been changing out aftermarket for stock and going back and forth trying to get it to run right . I thought I was going to have to find a stock prom chip there for a while .

I actually saw the parts after i posted I do want to go with a 2000 stall shift kit rebuild my tranny and put posi trac with 3:73 or 4:10 gears idk about the 4:10 since its a daily driver

Hey jd I actually saw this set of heads what do you think and I'm looking at 1.6 scorpion rocker arms and I already have the cam http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-30400007-m64

Those are sweet and you would be able to use your stock intake, but you could actually save money by doing the Vortec conversion like I am. So far I'm into the entire swap about $550 and everything is ready to bolt on. Again, its your decision, and I bet you would get some excellent performance with the Trickflows! Although, if I were you, I'd swap the intake anyway. Another user on here had mentioned that the stock intake doesn't flow very well. And you don't want to starve those things for air/fuel.

You can't just go changing cams with a tbi engine . The cam has to be specifacly made for tbi engines . And also the cam profile needs to be for a 1.6 rocker . A cam made for a 1.5 rocker won't work as well with a 1.6 rocker as a cam made for 1.6 rockers . Also with 1.6 rockers need Guide plates and the push rod hole clearenced . Not trying to be a dick , just some trial and error wisdom passed on to me from a friend who had a tbi truck running 12's

Okay is the truck used for highway driving alot? If it is you might want to stick with 3.73s cause if you go with 4.10s it will be revving high on the freeway.
