95 TBI into a 97 Vortec pickup

I’ve got a 97 Z71 that came with the 5.7 Vortec according to vin code. Somewhere along the line before I bought the truck it was swapped to a 5.0. The current 5.0 has spun a lower end bearing (crank or rod) and I have access to a good 5.7 TBI that is in a 95 Z71. Can I just swap ECM and install the TBI since both trucks have the 4L60E trans or is it more complicated ? I will have access to complete wiring harness from the 95 as it is complete except the transmission. Not able to title the 95. Am also going to convert the transfer case to floor shift since the 95 has all the needed parts including transfer case and convert front differential actuator to newer motor style versus thermal.

Nope. PCMs and wiring are completely different, they changed in '96 and again in '98.
