Been awhile since I posted on here but I'm having an ongoing intermittent issue with my 95 TBI 350. Seems to me I'm not getting enough spark advance at times. Some days it has the power it should have, others it feels like it's falling on its face pulling itself up hill. Couple this with an occasional rough idle that goes away above 1000rpms.

I haven't really done thorough diagnostics yet, gotta borrow or buy an OBDI cable and such. But I have a sneaking hunch it could be something with my 270k mile original dizzy/pickup coil. Any possibility there or am I looking in the wrong direction?

Second, if I do need to replace my distributor, what are some good options? My go to was the Delphi CZ20001, but looks like nobody will have it in stock again until at least next year around April, if at all. The GM performance one is stupid expensive right now, so looks like my only good options are maybe a DUI distributor or rebuild a low mileage one from a junkyard. Not a fan of the Chinese part store crap.

No sorry, I've maybe driven the truck 300 miles since I posted this. Truck has been running as it should, so I haven't bothered with it for now.

Check your fuel pressure. Those trucks are notorious for having low pressure.
