Hey guys i have a 1992 2500 and the transmision is getting a little wierd like when i go up a hill or anything with an incline if i try to get up it even remotely fast it basically will not shift and when it tries it really struggles to the point i just let of the gas cause it gets bad
and even when not on an incline it wont shift very easily and when it does it basically throws me through the windshield. .any ideas as to whats wrong? Thanks

Have you checked the fluid?

Do the RPMs increase without the speed increasing?

yea i checked the fluid it was perfect.yea it will do that on a rare occasion when i do not give it enough push to shift.

Sounds like slipping to me. I know very little about automatic transmissions, but I know enough to know that's bad news. I'd be planning on a rebuild in the near future if I were you.
