Second question....I noticed on the only video on YT that I found, the bleeding process seems to be the hard part once the slave is in. Can it be done on the truck without removing the master and line?

Super easy. 2 nuts is all that retains it to the bell housing. Make sure that you use a flare wrench on the fitting. I just gravity bleed it with the clutch pedal depressed.
