Being doing some research on switching my external slave to a hydraulic throwout.

Reason being is that the Nv3500 is getting extremely difficult to find, and...
Last time I drove the truck the top bolt at the slave mount fell out and when I actuated the clutch (@80 mph on I-5), it broke the bottom bolt tab on the casing.
To save some money until I figure out what transmission to replace it with, I would like to replace it (slave) with a hydraulic throw out bearing.
Thoughts, guidance, suggestions, all welcome.
