I want to test pressure after now to compare i think the regulator was shot, it was a cheap parts brand one the tech put it before me. Was my dads truck, I want a good aftermarket pump next with new tank, any recommendations on pump brand?

Ac Delco EP381. Otherwise Walbro or Delphi. Anymore they're pretty much all made in China.

Beware "counterfeit" parts sold on eBay or Amazon. They look genuine, at first glance.

Even I got screwed with "phony" spark plugs from an Amazon seller in Texas.
