5.3 or ls1 in a 1996 k1500?

Has anybody done this? If so was it all that difficult and what was the overall price to complete the install?

Depends on what kind of power you're looking for? Personal Opinion: LS1

sorry, didn't look at your question, I believe theres a couple members on here who have done a 5.3L swap without breaking the bank as bad as you would think.

If your going for major power. Go LQ9. Yes it's an iron block it only weights 70 lbs more and is substantially stronger
