So following the sticky here is my issue.
5. Trans shifts into gear harshly, 3rd gear starts, manual 2nd available but no 1st, no 4th, and no TCC lockup: No power to transmission, or trans is in limp-home mode. Check wiring, and make sure transmission electrical connector is plugged in. Easy fix.
The following codes are present, P0740, P0785, P1860.
The issue is how it's not all the time but more intermittent. I noticed today though twice it was doing it while cold. I then turn the truck off, run into a place for 15-20 min then when I return it runs fine and starts in first. Now though it might be fine for a day to a week. Trans plugs seem ok, on my next day off i'm going to put dielectric grease on the connections. Thing is, why ok once warm?
So just wondering if anyone might have some wisdom to assist??
