4 horns?

Richard your horn install looks similar to the one on my truck. I already took apart the front end so no pics unfort.

Are the horns to scare people?

Not to scare, but to better perform the function of a horn: get people's attention. Both of the horns were original when I got the truck (23 years old and not working). Replaced them with two new ones that didn't sound even remotely like a truck. Added two more and it does sound like a muffled train horn. I was curious as to your wiring setup because I believe the way I have mine each horn is only getting half of the rated amperage and if wired differently or each horn directly from the aux terminal would be much louder.
