350 tbi to 6.5 detroit swap

The last k2500 crew cab short bed 6.5 I saw was listed at 12k. I'd rather buy a $1500 crew cab short bed with rough running 350 and put a new 6.5 and Allison trans in for under 10k and have exactly what I want. I don't have emission checks though so a diesel in a gasser Vin truck isn't a issue.

Otherwise I fully agree. There are plenty of other trucks set up from the factory that come cheap. If want a. Ex long bed pick one, single cab long beds are dime a dozen, crew cab long beds are for sure out there, 8 lug ex cab short beds come up some what frequently, crew cab short bed 6.5 better jump on it if you have the money bit they were made.
