I’ve been lurking around and studying for a while. I haven’t been on a forum for a few years now, although I’ve belonged to a dozen or more over the years. I have bounced around between the big 3 manufacturers and from gas to diesel, then back to gas, lol.
This is my second GMT400 not counting many gmt400 work trucks. I bought this one over three years ago. I’ve bought and sold two other vehicles since then, but kept this one. I’m also looking to add another to my stable.
My current daily is this 2000 K2500 ECSB work truck with the L31 and 4L80e. It is a former fleet rig with the dual battery option, Gemtop canopy, hideaway strobes, and a bunch of patches in the roof from a light bar. It is otherwise unmolested, and has served me quite well.
I’m currently looking hard at a 1995 K2500 Suburban with the 7.4. I really hope it works out, as it would be a great companion rig to my pickup. It’s also white with the same steelie wheels, and blue interior, albeit with leather and power.
