2000 escalade

Looking for some help with the 4x4. The service 4x4 light doesnt come on when the key is turned on along with the indicater lights. I checked the fuses that i know of and they are good. Any kinda feed back would be helpful. Thanks..

i know the chevy trucks had a problem with the 4x4 switches going out on those yr models if i remember correctly

Ya its an escalade on the outside but chevy on the inside. Same vortec 350 as my 96 truck. I will check the switch thanks.

The bulb could just be burned out. Does the 4x4 work?

I wish that was the problem... no the 4x4 doesnt work at all.

id say its the switch

The switch is the most common. Sometimes its the module or the encoder.
