Hey guys,
New to the site, but mainly due to recently purchasing a 1998 Chevy 1500 with ~84,000 original miles. Anyway I'm in the middle of a Viper Remote Start/Keyless Entry install. My truck did not have keyless entry from the factory. I have the remote start portion working beautifully. It is the keyless entry portion giving me fits. I realized it was reverse polarity and wired in two relays per www.the12volt.com for reverse polarity door locks. My issue now seems to be finding the correct wires on the truck to tap in to. I have located a wiring harness behind the drivers side kick panel with two light blue wires as well as a white wire and maybe 4-5 other wires. Would this be the correct harness to use? I'm still a little confused on which exact wires I need splice in to.
Thanks in advance!
Kurt
