...and the truck is here again. It's been overheating and the radiator is only about half full with rusty-looking orange water. It doesn't crank well. The transmission is slipping more and more. I have a junkyard transmission that might work temporarily, but it's full of black sludge.

Zero motivation to fix this truck again. I'm so burnt out on fixing other people's stuff when I have plenty of race car dreams I need to fulfill.

My son's been driving the Chrysler 300, and a couple weeks ago it crapped out again, so he's flogging the truck.

The truck's leaking transmission fluid out of the transmission tail shaft and the filler tube. I have both those parts now, so the next time he brings it over we're pulling the driveshaft and fixing the transmission. It runs fine if you keep fluid in it.

I went to Pull-A-Part today and scored a nearly completely intact blue dash. I need to do a little plastic welding on it and it'll be ready to store in the shed until he gets motivated enough to install it.
