Single connector is the 4000 PPM signal for cruise control so if your truck doesn't have cruise there won't be that single connector. Those DRAC's/VSSB's are calibrated to you rear gear ratio so you will have to find one with the right calibration or re-pin it yourself.
Here is a good site with everything you'll need to know if you need to calibrate one.
Haven't looked that deeply into it but that one wire might be for other (non-GMT400) applications; my 1994 had cruise and so did the 1994 I have the spare dash from sitting in my garage (the one I just took the pic of the DRAC from a few minutes ago) - no second single-wire connector in that harness, either.

They must have pulled the cruise signal from one of the other terminals in '94

Went to the junkyard and found one off a 94 2 wheel drive 4l60e tranny. Module says QXL i think (I remember it started with Q). But anyways it worked. I’ll have to calibrate it later, just wanna road test it and make sure no other issues.
I changed the rear end from stock 3.08 to 3.42 and I’m runnin the stock 225/75R15 tires.

The tricky thing about reconfiguring the two bank DRAC is the settings are inverse of each other, if that makes sense. Take a look at the one I pictured with the case open - and imagine the jumper postions like this:

7654321 1234567

So in the example pic,
FIRST bank - 7,6,5,4,3 are "on" and 2,1 are "off"
SECOND bank - 1,2 are "on" and 3,4,5,6,7 are "off"

The first position doesn't change regardless - so first bank position 7, second bank position 1, are always the same. You can leave those alone. That leaves you the flexibility to use commonly-available 6 position DIP switches instead of trying to cram 7 position DIPs in there which don't physically fit next to each other.

Then you put the 6 position switch to cover positions 7 thru 2 on bank 1, positions 2 thru 7 on bank 2. Do the math on the related calibration info pages for your axle ratio and tire size, set your two banks of switches, and go compare against a GPS reading. I usually write down 3 different settings - the one the page suggests will work, and the one "above" and "below" to give myself a little margin for error, and try all 3 to see which one is the most accurate.
