I am looking to purchase a 1992 K1500 Z71. Seller says original motor was replaced with a 350 Chevy Small Block that had 11,000 miles on it. I was not able to locate a casting number (or any identification).

Can anyone tell me what kind of engine this is based on the pictures?

that doesn't mean it's a 350, crawl under the driver side and get the 3 digit casting off the block just above the oil pan, kind of in the center

It should have 5.7 behind the drivers side head near the bell housing if its a late model block too. If its a 350 that is.

It seemed to be running fine, but he doesn't seem to have any receipts or know anything about it. Is it possible to verify the motor really came from a vehicle with 11,000 miles?

its impossible to verify that, but i will say the engine looks very clean for its age.
