Found a little motivation to work on this truck, today.

Ordered a set of 3" mandrel bends, 3" X-Pipe and 3" Magnaflow knockoffs, cut it all up and burnt it in today. Exhaust is done, even used the oem exhaust hanger frame brackets!

That looks great! I've been really wanting a single cab street truck lately, especially now that my truck is "done" as far as major modifications go. It's just maintenance from here on out and that's just not as much fun!

If you don't mind me asking, where are you finding all these trucks so cheap? Do they not have clean titles?

Nice and sanitary execution!
Thank you! I spent about 4 hours laying this out, before welding it in. Wanted to make it look pretty good.

There's always room for tons of projects!

All of the trucks I buy, have clean titles. If salvage, they're parts trucks to me, I absolutely positively won't touch a vehicle without a title.

The maroon 88 and the black 89 I just purchased both have clean titles. I'm starting to think I have a stamp on my forehead that says "Pawn shop", as the maroon 88 was offered to me by a friend and the black 89 was a friend who called, said his employee was hard up for cash and if I wanted to buy the truck.

I do plan to vacuum the glass out of the interior on the black 89 this weekend, toss a battery in and see if it runs and drives. The guy who sold it to me, claimed it ran and drove fine, he started bodywork, ran out of interest and cash.

Damn cool truck. I really like the white gmc 3/4ton with the flatbed hidden in the back ground!!!

That GMC is probably one of my most favorite trucks i've ever owned. It's just such a good truck, I mean literally, everything is great about it (in my opinion).

Here's the build thread on that truck.

Well... got the black 89 running. Actually runs super well, cost was just a battery.

Actually have the 4.3 sold already. Took a 1945 Winchester M1 Carbine in trade for it!

Today was a good day!
