Can anyone tell me if there is a caliper clearance issue putting a 15" wheel on a 1990 4x4? I've found an excellent deal on some 15" boggers I'd like to buy. I'll have to use 15x10 wheels though minimum. Maybe 15x12.

The stock size spare was 15" so yes 15's will fit. But, some aluminum rim as well as some steel rims will not fit due to the shape of the inner rim. Aluminum rims may not fit at all since they are generally thicker.

How wide are the tires that you need 12 inch wide rims?

If you have clearance issues, grind a bit on the calipers. Offset and backspace will play the biggest role but I've seen quite a few 15s on these trucks.

And the wheels will look great. Snag a set of center caps off of eBay. I got my black composite plastic Caps for $15. They are for trailers but they fit.
