'03 alternator on '96

I had put dual eletric fans on my 96 Vortec 350 .. With the fans on my headlights on and my a/c on it pulled the volt meter down to 10 sometimes less for a sec.. So I took my 105 amp alternator and swapped it for the 145 .. I made sure it would fit .. It's actually for my 03 .. But the 145 amp fits perfect on my 96.. With nothing on the volt meter says a little over 14.. With everything on.. Cd player ac e fans headlights cb phone charger gps .. It kicked to half a needle below 14 .. Awesome! Easy fix!!

It won't fit a TBI without swapping your old connector out to a newer style and modifying the alternator case for mounting. Read the sticky.
