Hello,
I'm on my third alternator all were putting out 14+ volts and working then they dropped to battery voltage. After a few minutes they would come back up to 14. I changed to 2 other working alternators same thing up and down voltage.
No battery light on dash. When I first checked the energizer wire it was 5.6 volts.
I energized one alt with straight battery and it came back to 14 for a bit.
Any ideas...thanks
