96 k1500 suburban torsion bar keys

Hey guys in reinstalling my torsion bars but im not sure which postition to have the key at so i dont tighen then too much. Right now i have them facing straight down as pictured. T

Front wheels off

Torsion bar problem installed wrong?

I rebuilt my 93 Silverado 4x4 front suspension. can you put a torsion bar in backwards? putting the keys in where it sits in the cross member, don't even need the tool. but when take truck off jacks, its like the bumper is scraping the ground. So turn the keys down 1/6th (hex) they point...

Torsion keys will they fit

I have a 93 k3500 I'm putting new stiffer torsion bars in, I have a set of upgraded keys from a 01 3500 4x4 the guy put in for plowing I can get cheap, will the gmt800 keys fit in my gmt400 though? I have been told by some they will, others no they are indexed differently?
