    Ok, so the ford guys arent to indepth as far as I can tell. Thats why Im asking you guys. If you can use the ford keys to lift a chev, then could you use chev keys to lower a ford? I'm looking at the belltech keys and wondering if they are just the same thing as the chev keys

    new O2s didnt do a damn thing.... I have a new gasket for the egr, I'll swap them out tomorrow as well as double check the torque specs on my exhaust system.

    water in the dist.... nope. I had it all apart to replace the camshaft position sensor. And water in the dizzy makes for no spark and no running at all

    ok, truck is idling rough but idling with the O2's unplugged. it would have died by now. Its steady and running now

    data log didnt work.... I forgot these trucks werent supported until 98. I unplugged the O2s and it didnt change so I have to assume thats not the issue

    interesting thought. I dont have live readout, but I can data log and read the log after. I am sure I will be able to see the O2s at that point.

    yeah.... I had looked at swapping a 6.5 into my 97 and it would have been pretty straight forward but you would need a ton of parts and the very best way to have everything would be a donor truck. I've been half assed looking at a max/alli swap but i doubt the 1/2 frame will support it nicely

    93 was a solid motor but the power stroke didnt come out til 95. Turbo or non the IFI's didnt make earth shattering power but were serious work horses that just took a pounding. Its not too hard to upgrade to the first powerstrokes and add an intercooler from the second powerstrokes.
