    Thanks, that will give me a starting point. I know both positive and ground are old and PO put new terminals for a top post battery. I have changed them back to side post terminals. Time for brand new cables. Guess I get to crank up my bike in the morning! :-)

    I believe the problem is the air actuator control. I have a 93 GMC ecsb 5.7. As far as I can tell from the manual there are 3 actuators. How do I know which one is bad? Do I have to remove the entire dash to access it?
