First truck owner, 95 GMC c3500HD flatbed

Cool! Looks like mine. I'm jealous that you've got a stick shift - automatics make me sleepy on long hauls.. are you gonna use it as a money maker or a weekender?

    I bought a mystery truck.

I did, yeah. Once I saw all the red flags, I called the insurer and they assured me that it was a legal purchase.

    I bought a mystery truck.

Meant to say; 'maybe my best course of action is two doors off of a suburban and to keep the flathead for now, or just to get the driver's side tumbler rekeyed'. Sorry, just got off work.

    I bought a mystery truck.

Thanka for the info, that really helps. The passenger door lock is drilled out but still locks from inside but the driver door still has one. Both doors arw dented though so based on your info, I think my best immediate course is to keep the flathead and get the driver's side tumbler rekeyed...

The wiring is a mess too - I had my blower wired directly to the battery and on a switch til it blew two days ago, rolling around with...

    I bought a mystery truck.

Thanks! I'll call those up and see what they say. I've been looking at wreckers mostly and things are hard to come by. I've had them say things like "they have doors for a yukon which may be similar," but I don't know what trucks would be a match. My wife and I are actually actively looking...

    I bought a mystery truck.

I bought a truck. It was on craigslist for $2500 - Chevy 3500, 1-ton suspension, crew cab, flat deck, power tailgate, 300, 000 kms. I'm a carpenter and was looking for a flatbed for work. The wife and I went to take a look. Hasty oversprayed white paint job, filthy, no keys (flathead), 450k...
