    1994 4l60e doesn’t like to grab 3rd

Try moving the shifter into manual 2nd gear then upshift to 3rd with the transmission wiring harness unplugged..If you're able to upshift to 3rd manually, the 3-4 pack is healthy but if you 'false neutral' after throwing it into D3 or Drive, it's shot and transmission needs to come out for overhaul.

Yep, those were the "medium/intermediate duty" units in the TH400 family. It can be upgraded to whatever TH400 family standard if all apart...output shaft, drums, swapped in from TH400s or TH475s... Subbed - will watch the video later

    92 4L80E to 95 swap.

Not quite just plug and play; you still had to do a couple things to adapt the '95 unit to work your '92 vehicle. Glad it's working for you.

Keep it simple and sell that 07 core or put it aside for something else. Acquire and build a 1995-2000 4L60E that's designed to work with the Gen1 small block platform and you will be fine. Any 4L60E can be built to how you want it built per your needs/application (within reason).

Lol, No. How many chevy trucks he's worked on is irrelevant if that's what he's telling you...The changes in bell housing bolt pattern itself isn't important...Here's what's important: Pump stator, input shaft, bell housing depth and torque converter all changed for the Gen3 small blocks - all...

Are you going to run some sort of adaptor kit that will enable you to mate a 300mm LS/Gen3 4L60E to a Gen1 SBC? Will you reprogram the 95 PCM to control the 1996-2008 PWM & 3-2 contrl solenoid and, if applicable, delete the MLPS and tell it to look at the 93-E95 column mounted NSS? 1905 was a...

1997 k1500 Chevrolet Suburban shaking/shuddering/jerking at highway speeds

I'd suggest looking at the prices of various scan tools with bi-directional capabilities and then contacting the shop to find out how much a diagnosis will cost...My guess is that the prices for some of the more economical scan tools w/two-way and live data capability will be either roughly the...

Transmission kicks out of overdrive at 80+ mph

You need to determine if it's falling out because it's being commanded to backshift to 3rd or if it's falling out due to an electrical or mechanical fault...The best way to do this is to plug in a bi-directional scan tool and take the vehicle for a test drive, over 80mph and see what the...

    Possible 4L80 problem

Drop the pan and see what's on the bottom. If you see a whole lot of clutch material, put the pan back on with a few bolts and yank it out for overhaul. Otherwise follow my suggestion above. Check/continuity test the wiring harness and solenoids (i have a video that shows you how, if not sure)...

    Possible 4L80 problem

Do you have third gear when in D or D3? When did this start happening? Any recent transmission work? If so, drop the pan and check the seals on the low reverse servo piston to see if they are worn or hardened (sometimes this happens, esp if the vehicle goes through a long period of disuse...

    Slipping trans after rebuild.

Assuming test equipment is calibrated, working correctly and testing performed correctly, then yes - those look good (the Sonnax boost valve should be showing 23-25 in Hg but 21 is not a problem).

    EBL-flash and 4L60E control?

MAF, ISS, Brake light switch, possibly Cam/Crank Pos sensors but don't quote me on those last two. Others may add more input sources; I'm not super knowledgable on the programming/software side.

No idea on spacer or adapter kits though I know they exist so you'll have to read up on that and/or gather input from other members who are more knowledgable about them than I am...But, adapter kits aside, fitment is not as big a concern at the moment as TCM programming...If you plan on...

Refresh my memory....Is your vehicle and transmission both 1996 model years, respectively?
