Steering Wheel Play Fixed!

My steering wheel used to turn 45 degrees each way without moving the wheels. I replaced the idler arm and idler arm bracket and now there is MAYBE 1 inch of play, if that. I used MOOG problem solver parts.

Front and Rear Shock Replacement

I finally had the money to replace my shocks. I had 180,000 on the original shocks, and my rear was sagging. I used Monroe Reflex Monotubes in the front, and Monroe Sensa Trac Load Assist in the rear. I am very happy with the results. My rear was raised 2" with the Sensa Tracs. I really like...

Has anyone put a performance muffler and kept the rest stock? With two 2.25" going in and one 2.75" going out, what connections should I use?

Not dead set on magnaflow. I've read many posts that recommended them over flowmaster. Thrush soumds food too, from what I've read. Open to suggestions.

1997Chevydriver-I'm not too far away, in Monticello. I planned on putting on nerf bars instead of the fiberglass running boards, but decided I didn't like how low the bars hung. If there's a set that snug up closer to the body, I'd be game to put them on. Still undecided about bed rails.

Most economical lift?

Thanks for the replies. What's involved in a 2"body lift? I was concerned about cranking tosion rods after reading several posts.

Exhaust Help?

I have a stock 98 Z71. I want to add a 18" magnaflow muffler to give me a little more rumble. I have two 2.25" pipes going in and one 2.75" pipe going out. I don't know much about exhaust, so any help would be great.

Most economical lift?

I just joined the site. I have a 98 Z71 and someday I plan on giving it a 2" lift. I don't know much about lifting, so what's involved? I guess I would use 2" blocks in the rear, but how about the front with IFS? Any help would be great.
