Steering Wheel Play Fixed!

My steering wheel used to turn 45 degrees each way without moving the wheels. I replaced the idler arm and idler arm bracket and now there is MAYBE 1 inch of play, if that. I used MOOG problem solver parts.

Or you can do a jeep steering shaft to replace the rag joints which is my plan.

a new steering box will get rid of the rest of that play, you can tightn it with the adjuster screw on the box but its only a temp fix and will only shorten the life of the steering box

I've replaced vitrually every front end part and did the steering shaft upgrade. I'm very happy with where mine is I also used all moog parts did everything for under $500. My buddy is a gm mechanic and just replaced everything for a customer bill was over $1500.
