passenger seat wont lock in place?

hey guys, my pasenger seat in my 97 wont lock in place on the right side. when you turn the handle to the right to slide it back and fourth, both the pins lock in place, but on the track......... the left side it stays nice and tight, but on the right side of the track it moves up and down...

power lock malfunction?

Rear end diff gasket

Hey guys gonns change my diff cover gasket, it's a 14 bolt and just had a few questions, for one do i have to put any gear oil on the gasket before putting the cover back on? Also, how tight do the bolts have to be when tightening, snug or torqued so I know yet won't come off

HIDS, blinding others?

Just got some 6000k HIDS for my 97 silverado, their bright, very bright. I just dont wanna get pulled over for them since they could be blinding others. I read up on the laws, and as long as they Arnt blinding other drivers cops won't really care. How could I prevent getting pulled over...

Fuel guage stuck!!

K guys sorry, prolly isn't the right spot to post this, but after getting a new sending unit ans pump and wiring harness for the entire fuel system, about 2 weeks after I filled my truck up from half tank and now its stuck on full. After putting on about 25 miles it wouldn't budge, so I threw 10...

3rd door opening problems

my 3rd door, you gotta push it a tiny bit, and pull the handle all the way back to finally get it to release to open the door, i know that the spring on the handle is either broken or fell off cause the handle wont catch until the very last lenth it has to open....... the bottom teeth that hold...

the dreaded dirty rocker pannels

hey guys, 6 hours of buffing on my truck yesterday and got it all shined up, but my polished rocker pannels have that hazy unpolished look after years of no polish...... i use the orgional PURPLE metal polish, works good on the very top part where its the least smokey, but had to use a polishing...
