    I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I can't find the info I am looking for in the manuals. If there is anyone who can let me know which colors are what I would send over a digital case of beer for their hassle. The wires are cut on the engine side with enough there to graft on new wires.

    Started the truck tonight, the 03 5.3 oil pressure sender hooked to the gauge works fine as is. No need for any modification. Now... to get the tach working.

I just didn't understand why people were saying I needed the adapter as this one looks like it threads right in. If I don't need the 2 wires for tye fuel pump I will try to use the LS one wire...

    4l80e is used, suppose to have been tested and good from a 2500 van early 2000, but there is no guarantee. My truck is a 1997 c1500 rcsb. Had a 4.3 manual. Its now lm7, standalone harness, 4l80e and a 14bsf.
