Replaced fuel pump

I replaced the fuel pump with a VPHIX on an 88 Sierra, original pump was putting out 6psi. Now new pump won’t kick on, while applying power with a power probe to the new pump it kicks on, volt meter shows I have 12 v on the harness side while primed but only for a short time 5 sec maybe. After...

Dropping fuel tank

Hello everyone, I have an 88 Sierra. I am trying to replace the fuel pump and have loosened the straps and all YouTube videos show a bracket that needs to be removed, mine doesn’t have one. The straps are loose and the tank won’t budge. What am I missing? I can’t move it at all?

Cuts out when accelerating

I have an 88 Sierra, cuts out when accelerating, changed tps, map coolant temp sensor, cap router wires plugs, fuel filter and still has same problem would appreciate any help 171k

Exterior door handle
