steering wheel stereo control

Has anyone ever mounted a steering wheel that can control the stereo controls, volume, song playback, radio station, or the ability to answer the phone? I miss the functionality of my Mercedes. Its much safer then reaching for the dash mounted unit. Maybe a later model wheel could be mounted...
