    My 2000 GMC C3500 Revival

Wound up stripping it to prep for the basic green. Got my antenna on and scored a tailgate as well. Really ought to level it soon, love how the springs ride but they’ve lost a lot of the height

Haven’t been doing a ton to this thing, just surviving winter. Chucked a new radiator in it, had a knock sensor fail during the first big storm of the year, and overall had one heck of a time. Big things are coming, though. Tailgate, antennas, brush guard. Got my blackout lights in. Considering...

    My 2000 GMC C3500 Revival

I probably won’t be doing a ton to the interior, gotta find a new dash and set up some radios. Furthest I’d go would be swapping to buckets and a Havis style console in it, have absolutely no storage space right now.

I’ll keep that in mind! Gonna have to swing back through there soon for that

We used a backhoe, but if you’re real delicate with it and the bed is junk, we’ve taken them off our 800s by pulling the bumper, giving about 25 feet of slack, and dropping the hammer. The way we did it doing a fuel pump was 2x4 steel tube and a hinge to the hitch receiver, with lifting eyes...

Thansk, it’s been a huge process for me to get here so it means a lot. Started with no mechanical knowledge at all, so I can’t complain a bit as to where it’s gotten so far. Happy thanskgivin!

It’s alive and legal! Got out on the first road test last night, and the thing works perfect. Tracks straight, shifts great, front end is tight. Really can’t beat it. Just gotta chuck some bulbs at it and finish throwing CUCV parts on

Got some fresh ATXs on and got the bed lined, toolbox and a few other little bits. Really liking the tires, between that and servicing the G80 it does way better around the property. If all goes according to plan she’ll be on the road within a month

Didn’t get as much done as I’d liked to have in this time, but still making progress. Should be picking up some CUCV goodies for this sometime this week, rifle racks n the likes. Pretty excited to make some real headway

It lives! Going to figure out my rear end solution, fix some temporary routing of brake lines, and then it's on to the fun stuff! Figuring out a separate 24v system to run surplus lighting equipment and whatever other goodies I throw at it later. 3 tone woodland should be coming somewhere along...

2 man by hand lift, bed is on. Only a few touchups needed, overall things are looking pretty up!

Been a hot minute yet again, but I've found a pickup bed and acquired/applied my first coat of paint. Should become a bit darker and more matte as it cures and ages. Next on the list is a brush guard and some fresh rubber. Almost street legal!

Snow is gone! As always, hope this finds you all well. I have returned from yet another hiatus, learned real quick that salvaging that utility body would have been the intelligent choice, as there is almost nothing worth my time here in NH that I've found yet. Love the salt states. Had some fuel...

    Mounting M1031 CUCV box on 2000 C3500 C&C RCLB

I've got a 131.5 wheelbase, did some looking and it turns out it should clear. (Allegedly, you know how things go.) Going to check with a friend who has a square before I make the purchase, though. Thank ya!

    Mounting M1031 CUCV box on 2000 C3500 C&C RCLB

I have a 2000 GMC C3500 cab and chassis truck in need of a body. I found an M1031 CUCV contact maintenence body near me, all aluminum construction. There's an obvious frame width difference, but to mount the CUCV body I'd need a new subframe anyways. I have not been able to find a good cab to...

    2000 C3500 350 exhaust shortening

Should be 2.5 if I recall correctly, pretty sure it's the factory system still

    2000 C3500 350 exhaust shortening

Doing a 180 and then out definitely seems like the better option, that way all the sensors stay where they need to be. I don't mind experimenting with the stuff, so I'll head over to the parts store and pick up some angles this weekend to mess around with that. I'll keep ya posted on it, thanks!

    2000 C3500 350 exhaust shortening

Appreciate all the responses, I'm just moving it up so it's not getting stuffed into things when the flatbed goes on and it'll be routed away from my work area at the rear of the truck. It's so far away and ain't directed at the tire, in theory it's plenty of room for it to mix with the ambient...

    2000 C3500 350 exhaust shortening

Good evening all, I have a 2k C3500 cab and chassis RCSB. I am looking to shorten the factory exhaust system while maintaining the OEM muffler. I would like it to have a side exit with a turndown immediately behind the cab. What I am unsure of is what exactly I'd have to do to keep all my O2...

    My 2000 GMC C3500 Revival

Dropped off the face of the earth for a while there, life got away from me and I've been filling up the coffers. Did all my (really) rough bodywork to get it sealed up, found new doors, so on and so forth. Not too much else exciting, preparing to build a hitch plate and machine my brakes. After...

New Hampshire here, checking in with looking for knowledge or a current owner on a 99 Chevy K2500. 1GCGK24R2XR713789, Pewter with the plow prep, sliding glass, maybe a thick steel patch on the front bumper. Cassette deck, too. Did a quick search, last hit is in New Jersey. Sold out of Loudon, NH...

Sorry for the late reply y’all, got busy again. I’m pretty fortunate with this rig. tpass, love your rig! I’m in the same situation with my rear end, probably gonna find a junkyard axle and leaf set, and then after I’m done bodywork undercoat this thing religiously. Frame is real thin at the...

    My 2000 GMC C3500 Revival

NH is a pretty decent place most of the time, I'm not a huge fan of summers just because it's peak tourism season but what local to any area doesn't feel that way? Farthest I've been into NY is my dad's friend's camp out in Hague, generally don't roam more than 40 miles from home until the...

Black with a hint of yellow will definitely look real slick on a track-style rig, should stick right out! I heard somewhere the yellow tinted stuff does better in whiteout/brownout conditions too, not sure if it's true though. I'm probably going with the Indigo color, black OEM flares, and one...
