Can't resist the urge to mod it...

I love the look of these trucks with flares, so I had to pick up a set. The U-pull it didn't have any flares, so I resorted to buying the eBay set for $145 shipped. Not a bad product, easy to install and fit pretty nice. It's too cold out to paint the flares, but they will be body color...

Cruise control...

Do we have a light in the dash that shows when cruise is enabled? My truck has cruise and it works, but I don't have any light in the dash indicating it's on. Not really a big deal but I would like to replace the bulb if it has one. Truck is a '98, as well.

Time for some body work!

Well, my '98 wasn't exactly pretty when I got it, it looked like someone walked around the truck with a crow bar and beat it in all sorts of random spots. Not only that, but she was cursed by the famous WNY rust. Cab corners are shot (Which I will be replacing soon) and both passenger side wheel...

Truck won't start....

Truck is a '98 K1500 with the 5.7L. When I got the truck I couldn't get it to start either, it would crank over all day long but not even a hint of combustion. I thought for some reason it was a bad connection at the battery. I eventually got it to run after about 20 minutes worth of messing...
