What's Next

My current setup is a 96 k1500 with 175k miles. I have already installed dual exhaust, air intake, and have had it tuned by . I am looking for suggestions for the next performance enhancer since the government so kindly decided to return some of my hard earned money recently.

Suspension Upgrade

Hello all, I have a 96 k1500 with the DC 6.5 in stage 1 lift. I am looking to upgrade my shocks very soon and was wondering if it would be worth while to install a dual shock kit for the front while i'm at it. Currently I am running the standard DC single shocks up front and the basic skyjacker...

Possible Engine Swap

here is the situation. someone totaled my moms 01 yukon xl 2500. now it was a big stupid beast but the heart of it was the big block 496 that is a monster. im not sure but the engine may still be running im checking on that soon. my question is how hard would this engine be to swap into my 96...

Crate Engine

im looking to replace my engine with a new crate engine. the truck is a 96 k1500 silverado with 6in lift and 35s all drivtrain is stock except air intake and blackbear tune. my question is how much power can these trucks handle stock and what are some good options. thanks for any help

Adding Height

my current setup is a 96 k1500 with the 6.5 in cepek lift 35x25.5 r17 tires the t bars arent cranked any to my knowledge. my question is what is the maximum height i can go up from here without putting too much stress on front end parts cvs, ect... How can i do it and about how much would it cost

New 1996 Tune up/Maintenance

i bought my 96 k1500 at about 149,000 miles right now it is at about 163,000 with no problems. i change oil and filter every 3000 miles and it seems well taken care of but im just wondering if there is any maintenance i should do soon since i have no clue what has been done to it over the years
