REAR DRUM BRAKE HOWLING NOISE AFTER LOWERING TRUCK ANY FIXES ?HELP!

Excellent question, that has been haunting me for the last 24 hrs. I'm thinking so. Which means my axle would be closer to trans rather than moved back an inch, which might cause some rubbing from the drive shaft (?). Also if the axle saddles are on the wrong side I think it would throw of...

REAR DRUM BRAKE HOWLING NOISE AFTER LOWERING TRUCK ANY FIXES ?HELP!

Yeah, I wish people would update their post when they solve a problem. Like the sloppy steering issue. I just looked at my pinion angle and it is horrible. Soon as I get time I'll tear it apart and get it straightened out, and I will update.

REAR DRUM BRAKE HOWLING NOISE AFTER LOWERING TRUCK ANY FIXES ?HELP!

I know this is an old post, but I had the exact same problem after doing a flip kit. It has Extremely Loud at low speeds right before I come to a stop, and today I realized that if I put it in neutral that it doesn't do it. I've checked my brake lines, new drums. Scuffed them up. but someone...

NBS brake swap on 2WD GMT400 almost complete

What upper control arm are you using? Is that from an HD truck? I was told a long time ago you can use them, turn them upside down, and swap driver and passenger and the geometry would be better for a lowered truck

    Rack and pinion conversion?

I know it's an old thread but I'm thinking of doing this. A replacement rack from an 06 Chevy/GMC, I'd weld bolts to the cross member, possibly notch the horn on front of the cross member. My question is the pump,..replace it? Will my stock one work? Will the 06 stock one bolt on?

this is what I'm talking about. My stock A arm is putting my ball joints in an awkward angle, aftermarket A arms change that angle. So I think I found my answer. I've also heard of people taking the stock A arms and flipping them, then switching the drivers and passenger sides, because they...
