I’m surprised nobody said Vader, Stealth, Reaper, Dark Knight, Terminator, Undertaker, Black Window or Black Beauty.

    LPG/propane thread.

It is about 2.5x7.5x10cm. Looks like a 5 position dip switch, and white 6 pin plug and a small rheostat. Nothing on the back. Can’t find any kind of part number. Two wires go to and from the distributor, one to the tps. The other three look like a power ground and a blue wire. Not 100% on the...

    LPG/propane thread.

I have a lpg system that I pulled off of my 95 Sierra with a tbi 350. I’ve looked at it and the only branding a can really find on it is AEB. One box says technocarb efs 400 by AEB and the other box says red master timing advance processor by AEB apparently made in Italy. Does anyone know...

    Dye vs Paint

Take I look in LMC. They have several stock colors listed and are fair priced.

    Dye vs Paint

I have been doing a color change on my 95 Sierra from grey to red. I did a lot of resource but I guess you never really know until you put some miles on your own work. I’m using Color Bond but have heard great things about SEM. Prep is everything just like any paint job. I have been using a all...

    Battery drain - cause?

Have you considered pulling the LP conversion? I had one in my 95 and it was a lot easier to remove then I thought. Or was you planning on keeping it and using it? Speaking of, I have a full LP conversion if anybody is interested in it. I believe I cut the conversion out of the injectors...

    Rear end swap?

No, will not fit directly. I know that the pads are in different locations but I believe the housing is the same width. And as far as I’ve hear you can pull the g80 out of a newer body style I’m and put it into an osb. I’ve heard that they are a little different but will work. So either way...

    1996 Chevrolet c1500 obs Silverado

If your doing a personal build than it up to your personal taste. I’m currently rebuilding a 95 Sierra scsb and I’m put a cowl hood on it, new lighting, roll pan and mostly interior color swap. If I had your truck I would do a mild drop, maybe run some nice stock GMC rims, hood, roll pan, pull...

    1996 Chevrolet c1500 obs Silverado

I would leave it as it is. Do any maintenance that it needs and leave it. If it was a higher mileage vehicle that wasn’t in such good shape I might consider modifying it but you will get more value out of it the way it is. If your just gonna flip it then let the new owner do the mods if they...

    Crank no start

While your at it throw a multimeter or test light on the supply side of your ecu1 fuse under the hood. It should be battery voltage. If all you have is a test light test other circuits and if its dimmer than a known 12v/battery voltage that may be your problem. I'm only saying this because this...

    Crank no start

Sounds like you may have solved it right there. I wouldn't worry about the fuel side if you've got 55psi, I believe the spider injectors need 50 to operate. If you want to be meticulous about it I would throw a noid light on it to test signal at the injectors. I don't think your have any issues...

    1995 bench upholstery

I recently picked up a 95 Sierra from the junk yard just before I got crashed. The interior was stripped but I was able to pick up a seat from a similar year. I’ve put sound deadened down and decided to do a color change. I guess the question I have is does anyone know where to get an upholstery...

    No Fuel, No Spark

Yea. I have a bad ignition switch. I’m only getting about 2v from it and as far as I can see that where the voltage originates. Thanks again.

    No Fuel, No Spark

I found my problem. I started testing the connectors on the ecm and had 12v on battery feed but only 2v on the ignition feed. I’d noticed the ecm 1 fuse was dim when I previously tested it for power and guess which fuse supplies power to the feed line. I jumped 12v to the bus in the fuse box and...

    Nothing on the noid test.

    No Fuel, No Spark

Could I actually have two failures at once? I guess since it was setup for propane it could have been running with a bad fuel pump but as far as I know the PO was running gasoline. What controls both the fuel pump and the ignition? Does the ICM? I'm gonna do a node test today to see if its...

    No Fuel, No Spark

I have the Haines/Chiltons manual but the wiring diagrams in it ain’t the best. I know the grounds going from the engine to the frame and to the body are all there. I’ll take a look when I get back and check the others. I know there’s one next to the battery that isn’t hooked up but I thought...

    No Fuel, No Spark

So I decided to save a 95 Sierra standard cab short box 4x4 5.7L auto truck from the crusher at our local salvage yard. When I got it, it was in pretty rough shape but the body was good and I was told that it ran when it was brought in. I guess this is all a story for another post so I'll get to...
