    If you take the LCAs off the bars you won’t need to fight the keys. Other than backing the tension off of them.

    Installing them was easy. I cleaned up the bars and used never seize on the hex. Slid right into the new arms. Snug fit but I could move them by hand.

    I got the puller from eBay. Tolsen model 65042. I used it on my neighbors truck changing his Lowers also. It works perfect. No banging or cussing. Both sets were stuck and I made short work of them with my 1/2 impact.

    A bit of an update. I noticed the wiring connector to the MAP was is poor shape. Broken wire insulation and exposed wire. I replaced it with a new connector and it’s running much better. Although there is still a rough idle.

    I’m wondering if he has some other ball joints. I have done this to two trucks with no problems. Mine and a coworker’s truck. I had my alignment set a 0 camber so my tires would wear better.
