4l80 swap questions that I can't find answers to.

So I've done searches both here and google as well as asked on multiple pages on facebook and have yet to find the answers to a few of the questions I have regarding the 4l80 swap into my 88 c3500. I'll be going from a th400 to the 80. I already have the U.S. Shifts controller I need on order...

TH400 Needs Overdrive... 4L80E swap? Bolt on OD?

I was looking into a GV for mine, since it’s already a 2wd, and couldn’t find one for less that $3k. A little more cash would give me the 4L80 with the controller, so the GV is out of the question, IMHO. For the cost difference in what I was finding, I’ll do the 4L80e swap just to have the lower...
