    Is the 700r4 and 4l60e the same length? will a 4l60e work with my current transfer case and driveshafts? if so i think you're right, it would be alot easier to spend the money on an engine/trans.

    It is also much better when the truck is still cold. But after about 5-10 minuites of run time it gets much worse.

    I had the same issue, resistor actually looked fine, but continuity tested the middle resistor, and got nothing, so i replaced it and everything worked again.
