    Wrap or Replace?

Have you ever considered a newer model steering wheel? I'm thinking about the wheel in my 2011 Silverado. and Grant makes an aftermarket wheel that fits the airbag.

    Headliner 95 GMC extended cab

Did my headliner yesterday. I think it came out pretty good for my first time. My best advice is to go slow, if possible do it inside somewhere because the wind didn't help. I had my sister and nephew help me out with holding the material and smoothing it out, that was definitely a huge plus...

6x9 in the rear pillar extended cab?

Thanks for the advice. I'm not putting the rear seat back in and I do plan on doing a more powerful subwoofer setup later on, one 15" or two 12"s but i still want that sound from behind me until then. And i don't want to cut the front door panels for extra speakers. i will upgrade the front to a...

    Washed the carpet

Pulled the headliner today. If you have an extended cab with a dome light in the middle there are two screws holding it in under the center part of the light. Two 10mm bolts hold in the “oh ****” handle on the passenger side a pillar and three screws for each sun visor. I already had the rear...

    Washed the carpet

That’s a nice color. My mom had a 95 suburban 4x4 back in the day that had a similar color with the silver two tone. I especially like that you’re driving a big American truck in Europe

    Washed the carpet

Yeah, hopes and prayers lol. It’s going to be a while before I’m driving it again so I’ll have time for smells to come up. Thanks for the info though, it’s always good to hear others experiences so i can know what to watch out for.

    NBS Tahoe leather seat swap

I’m thinking that too. I have a 2011 Silverado 2500hd with manual seats and they’re very comfortable, i want another Set for my 1995 gmc extended cab.

    Washed the carpet

My buddy washed his carpet at the car wash and let it dry a few days before reinstalling it and he hasn't complained about any smells. That was more than two years ago. I'll take my chances with it but if i do start smelling mold I'll pull it back out and replace the padding like you suggest...

6x9 in the rear pillar extended cab?

The door speakers and head unit were bought from Best Buy around 4 years ago because the factory set up was not great, only the rear speakers and one door speaker were working and the radio didn’t even have a tape player. I didn’t replace the rears because of the headache it is to get to them...

6x9 in the rear pillar extended cab?

Has anyone here ever cut the rear pillars to mount 6x9s? I’m doing this because the stock 4x6 speakers really suck and i want some real sound for my mids. I have a kenwood head unit, a pair of kenwood 6-1/2 in the front doors(1995 GMC extended cab) and a Rockford Fosgate P300-12 powered sub in...

    Washed the carpet

That’sa great idea to replace them, mine were all stripped so I’m definitely not going to reuse them. I was going to go to Home Depot and find something to use instead.

    Washed the carpet

Yeah i bet that was a ***** lol. Luckily i have the pressure washer at home. I draped the carpet over a picnic table i have so it was off the ground. The table is plastic over a metal frame so I’m not worried about it getting wet. When i was done i dragged it into the sun, it’s almost fully dry...

    Washed the carpet

My buddy got one of those and it works great. I used a craftsman with a Briggs & Stratton motor. Just remember to use the nozzle with a wide stream and let the cleaner you use soak in for a while then scrub the whole thing then use the pressure washer. Then repeat, i did that three times. the...

    tmi interiors for the obs

Looks like it’s really for 88-94, the old interior. I’m not a fan of those, but these don’t look too bad.

    Washed the carpet

Thanks, it took a lot of scrubbing, 2 cans of carpet cleaner, a bottle of purple power and a pressure washer.

    Washed the carpet

I plan on redoing the headliner next and probably will put new rear speakers While the trim is out. I’ll post pics when i get around to it. It’s just a back burner project i made out of my old daily so I’m not in a rush.
