    I understand that. Someone asked where to get one. I replied on where you can get an oem unit. I personally try not to use aftermarket parts if I can help it.

    Just get one from a B-body Cadillac, Buick, Olds, Pontiac or Chevy. They are a similar weight vehicle.

    Depends upon where you live. Here in MA, once it's 20yrs old, it only has to pass safety.

    Check your airbag sensor for damage. They are made of plastic. Over time they swell & crack from being pelted by the sand & snow as you drive.     They haven't been on since 2015. They didn't even reply to my question in 2016 which was posed a few months after they were last on. I highly doubt that you'll get a response from them.

    If you had swapped the drivers side frame rail to use your original, then you would not have had to drill the hole.

    I forgot to mention, when it comes to trucks, the site is a little funky. Sometimes looking up a c/k will net you zero results, but looking up a Silverado/Sierra will get hits. Even when looking up a 93-94. Same thing will happen when looking up a 99 Blazer vs Trailblazer or 99 Jimmy vs Envoy...

    To save time & money on fuel hitting every yard, try this site : www.row52.com Some yards use it. You can search the inventory to see what vehicles are available. It also gives the Vin #'s of the vehicles. Find a vehicle that fits your bill, then drive to that yard to get your pics.

    Use Your stock seat risers as the Floorplan differs slightly between bodystyles. The bolt holes of the inner seatriser may not line up w/ the bolt holes in your floor. Your seat risers will bolt up to the replacement seats.
